Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Bazarla respects intellectual property rights, and we expect our users to do the same. This policy explains the rules for sellers and how rights owners can report a listing that infringes their rights.

Rules for sellers

  • Only list items you own or are authorised to sell.
  • Do not list counterfeit goods, replicas, unauthorised copies, or items that infringe a trademark, copyright, or other right.
  • Use your own photos and descriptions, or ones you have permission to use.

Reporting an infringement

If you are the rights owner (or their authorised agent) and believe a listing infringes your intellectual property, email us at info@bazarla.mu with:

  • your name and contact details, and the rights owner you represent;
  • the right you hold (e.g. trademark or copyright) and proof where possible;
  • the listing link or ID, and what specifically infringes;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information you've given is accurate.

You can also flag a listing from its page using report.

What we do

We review reports and may remove the listing and take action on the account (notice-and-takedown). We don't give legal advice or decide disputes between parties — we act to keep infringing items off Bazarla.

If your listing was removed

If you believe your listing was removed in error, contact us at info@bazarla.mu with details and any proof of your right to sell, and we'll review it.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly list infringing items, or commit serious infringements, may be suspended or closed.
